Turkowska Unia Rozwoju - T.U.R.

Our Organisation exists to work together with you to change reality for the better, so that we may live not only with dignity and prosperity, but also in harmony with our culture, traditions, and the natural environment that surrounds us, and above all with respect for ourselves and for other people.

We hope that, together with us, you will follow the path of our activities and the initiatives carried out by organisations and institutions that cooperate with us. We also hope that our past and future achievements will encourage cooperation and serve as an inspiration for you.

We work for the development of rural areas, activate local communities, promote the region, and support and disseminate the implementation of the Local Development Strategy.

Our association was established during the Founding General Assembly on 8 July 2008 on the initiative of representatives of three sectors: the social, economic, and public sectors. The Association was registered with the District Court in Poznań, 9th Division of the National Court Register, in the Register of Associations and Other Social and Professional Organisations on 14 August 2008. As stated in the preamble to the Statute, the Association continues the activities previously undertaken by the “Turkowska Unia Rozwoju – T.U.R.” Foundation, which was established by notarial deed on 11 September 2006.

The “Turkowska Unia Rozwoju – T.U.R.” Association aims at the broadly understood development of rural areas within the member municipalities, namely: Brudzew, Kawęczyn, Kościelec, Malanów, Przykona, Turek, Władysławów, and, since June 2015, also the municipality of Dobra.
